Scope

The scope of this Technical Committee (TC) is the adoption of European (CENELEC) and international (IEC) standards, as well as European and international standardization documents as Albanian Standards (SSH) and Albanian Standardization Documents (DS), regarding the definition of electrical and electronic materials, as well as their use in various assemblies. The scope of this TC extends to the set of standards for Electrical Accessories, Relays, Plugs, Plugs, Miniature Fuses, High Voltage Fuses, Winding Wires, Optical Fiber and Fiber Optic Cables, Communication Cables, Electrical Cables, Appliance Couplings, Lighting Materials, Passive Components as well as Cable Management Systems, Fiber Optic Systems and Active Devices, Power Storage Systems, adopting:

  • standards that provide information about definitions, terminology, use, performance, maintenance , improvement, instructions for use, test methods, safety requirements and other information necessary for users of these standards; mainly producers, consumers, state institutions and technical inspectorates, academies, laboratories, etc.;

  • standards related to the use of these materials taken separately, as well as their use in equipment / assembly used in all areas of life (industry, health, energy, transport, etc.), as well as their effects on users, and impact on the surrounding environment.

Also, electrical and electronic aspects of materials, boundaries, uses and limitations are within the scope of this TC.
